Education and training
We aim to provide skills development, transition to work training, supported and open employment for our clients.We believe that every person has special talents and sometimes all that is needed are professionals who are willing to listen and understand the needs of each client and who can develop a structured path to success. The BartMeph Foundation (BM) aims to create BM Employment, a specialised employment service with fully trained staff to provide access to apprenticeships, traineeships and a wide variety of open work opportunities. There are a number of reasons that make finding and keeping a job harder for some people with disabilities e.g. an injury, chronic health condition or disability, can make it difficult to get and keep a job. The BM Employment will provide individually tailored programs for each client to maximise employment opportunities and long term success. We aim to assist disabled people to build a career not just get a job and help them decide what kind of job and career they would like by doing the following;
- Access to training to develop work skills
- Preparing a resume to highlight clients skills and work experience
- Assisting clients to search for the right job;
